Yes. Tower work needs building approvals, lift booking and access windows for glass panels. We plan panel sizes around lift and stair dimensions so nothing arrives on site that cannot physically reach your floor.

Yes. Most installations take a day or two per area. We cut and grind off site wherever possible, protect floors and adjacent finishes, and keep dust and noise contained.

Four things: glass type and thickness, the aluminium profile system, hardware quality, and installation complexity. Toughened and laminated glass, thermally broken profiles and concealed hardware all move the price — and all of them show up in service life.

For simple repairs and like-for-like replacements we can often guide a range from WhatsApp photos. For anything fabricated to size, a site measurement is required — openings are rarely square, and a few millimetres change the whole panel.

Usually because they are not quoting the same thing. Glass thickness, whether it is toughened or laminated, profile wall thickness, hardware brand and warranty terms are the variables. Ask every quote to state glass spec and profile system and the comparison gets much easier.

We supply and install as a complete package — profiles, glass, gaskets, sealant and hardware. If you have already bought material, we can quote installation only, but we cannot warrant glass or hardware we did not supply.

For shower screens, balustrades, pool fencing and anything at low level, toughened glass is not optional — it is the safe specification, and it breaks into blunt granules rather than shards. We quote it as standard for those applications.

Shower screens and mirrors typically run 1–2 weeks from final measurement. Doors and windows run 2–3 weeks. Partitions, balustrades and pergolas run 2–4 weeks depending on glass type, powder-coating and building access.

We measure at the free site visit for quoting, then re-measure the finished opening before cutting. Tiling, plaster and skirting all change the final dimension — cutting glass to a pre-finish measurement is the most common cause of a panel that does not fit.

Glass lead times on non-stock thicknesses and colours, powder-coating turnaround on custom RAL finishes, and building access approvals in towers. We flag all three at quote stage rather than after the deposit.

Framed screens carry aluminium on every edge — the most forgiving on out-of-square openings and the cheapest. Semi-frameless frames only some edges. Frameless uses thicker toughened glass with minimal hardware, costs the most, and demands the most accurate opening.

Yes. Powder-coating to any standard RAL reference is routine, including matt black, bronze and anthracite. Custom colours add roughly a week to the schedule.

Yes — that is a large part of our work. If it can be made from aluminium and glass we will quote it. Start with aluminium & glass works.

Both. Cracked glass replacement, failed seals, dropped or jammed sliding doors, worn rollers and handle or lock replacement are all routine callouts.

Usually not. Most shower leaks are a seal, sweep or drainage-fall problem rather than a glass problem. We diagnose before quoting — replacing glass when the fault is a AED 150 seal helps nobody.

Typically two to four years in Dubai water conditions before the clear PVC yellows or hardens. Swapping seals early is far cheaper than dealing with water that has tracked into joinery or a slab.

Yes, if the system allows it. Framed and semi-frameless systems usually do. Frameless panels with drilled hardware sometimes need the whole panel remade, because the holes must be drilled before toughening.

Toughening is the last step in manufacture. Once glass is toughened, any cut or drilled hole releases the surface tension and the pane shatters. Every hole, cutout and hinge position has to be specified before the glass goes into the furnace.

Yes. We use neutral-cure silicone appropriate to the substrate and detail wet-area frames so water drains outward rather than tracking behind the frame.

Squeegee shower glass after use — Dubai water is hard and leaves mineral deposits that etch the surface over time. For external glass, rinse before cleaning so sand is not dragged across the pane.

Yes. Tracks collect sand, which grinds down rollers and eventually damages the track itself. A clean and lubricate once or twice a year makes the difference between a roller swap and a full door replacement.

Yes. We service, repair and re-glaze other companies' installations. We will tell you honestly if a system is proprietary and parts are not available.

Yes. Property managers and holiday-home operators use us for scheduled glass, door and hardware checks across portfolios with owner-approved scopes.

Yes. Partition work is routinely phased across evenings and weekends so teams keep working. We agree access windows and noisy-work timing before we start.

Yes — shopfront glazing, entrance door systems, internal screens and mirrors. We work around trading hours and understand what downtime costs.

We supply acoustic laminated glass for offices and meeting rooms. Fire-rated glazing is available and is specified against the certificate required for your fit-out approval — tell us the requirement and we will quote to it.

Terms are stated in your quotation. Fabricated-to-size work normally takes a deposit at order — glass is cut to your opening and cannot be resold — with the balance on completion and handover.

Yes. We provide a workmanship warranty on completed installations, alongside manufacturer terms on glass and hardware. Details on our warranty page.

We walk the installation with you, list anything outstanding, then close it out. Alignment, seal dressing and hardware adjustment are all normal snag items and are not extras.
